Descrizione
Just like the original Centaur offering, the Klon-style All-Pedal Alcmene stompbox wields a set of Germanium clipping diodes that guarantee a wide drive range, from sweet and transparent overdrive all the way up to some solid saturation. An active treble control pot has been supplied for fine-tuning the higher frequencies in detail and, thanks to the gold-plated circuit board housed inside, you're assured of flawless signal integrity. Extra headroom and an expanded dynamic response is ensured by an internal charging pump while, like every other All-Pedal stompbox, you're getting a reliable drive machine that's been built in the USA. As a final wink and nod to the Klon Centaur, this pedal has been named after Alcmene who, according to Greek mythology, had a brief fling with Zeus and gave birth to Heracles: the slayer of centaurs!
